Built for Your Experiment

Every component of the Lumina Intensifier is designed around real research needs.

ALD-Coated MCPs

Atomic Layer Deposition coating on dual-stage chevron MCPs extends tube lifetime by 50–100×. Faster channel recharging reduces dead time at high count rates.

Modular Relay Optics

Field-swappable 1:1 or 1:2 relay optics at F1.0. Match your sCMOS camera or Timepix3 detector without factory service. C-mount front for standard input lenses.

Integrated Cooling

Optional Peltier cathode cooling with water-cooled heat sink reduces dark count rate by 500×. Down to ~10 ph/cm²s for photon counting and bioluminescence.

3 ns Gating

Electro-optical photocathode gating for time-domain imaging, background rejection, and synchronised acquisition. Ideal for FLIM, LIBS, and plasma diagnostics.

Self-Contained Electronics

Integrated high-voltage supply and fully programmable gain control via USB-C. No external power supplies or gate drivers needed.

Proven in the Field

Deployed at neutron beamlines, synchrotron facilities, and quantum optics labs. Delivered in a rugged Pelicase for safe transport worldwide.
